Korean Makeup Haul

I recently went on to www.beautynetkorea.com to order some Korean makeup. I've heard really good things about the formulations and quality of their products. I'm not sure if this is the best site to use when buying makeup, but it turned out great for me. (fyi it took three weeks to get to me) I ordered 4 items and received multiple samples.

The first item is the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Fairy Glitter Shadowing Evening Party. This is eyeshadow is more like a pressed pigment, and when touched it almost feels like a cushion. The formulation is very soft and has great pigmentation. The color is a warm bronze with silver shimmer running through it. ($9)

Next I got Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner in Pink Topaz. This eyeliner is an iridescent baby pink with silver shimmer. The formula is very pigmented and glides on easily. As it claims, it is waterproof but takes a few minutes to set. I believe this eyeliner would look great on the inner corner and/or waterline. ($5)

I also got the Tony Moly Angel Glow Ring Hair Mask. It claims to prevent hair damage and provide intensive nourishment for radiant lustrous hair. I just tried this product and I was very Impressed. It left my hair silky and with a natural glow. It does not have the best smell but it is not overpowering. The product also has a hair cap to put on while the product is in your hair. ($7 for 2)

Last I got the Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Patch. It is designed to vitalize the skin around your eyes that appear dark and dull. I do not have bad dark circles, but I do have a little purple under my eyes. Overall this product left my under eyes feeling revitalized but not extremely hydrated. I also didn't notice a difference with any darkness. ($5 for 5)

For the samples I received the Skinfood Lettuce and Cucumber Watery Toner, Tony Moly I'm Real Avocado Rich Cream, Tony Moly Panda's Dream White Magic Cream, Tony Moly Banana Hand Milk, and lastly the Tony Moly Regencia Homme.

I totally recommend checking out Korean makeup, or even different countries' makeup. It's really fun to see the differences and trends that the U.S. doesn't have. Most Korean Makeup includes very dewy skin and big eyes. You will also see light touches of color on the cheeks and lips in a light pink or coral shade. A brand new trend is "Aegyo-sal" which translate to baby fat under the eye. This is where they purposely make their under eyes look saggy to provide a youthful look.

Thanks for reading!
