Multi Purpose Eye Look

There are no real rules to makeup, so when it comes to eye looks anything goes. If you see a blush that is beautiful, there is no point in not trying it as an eyeshadow. We see this a lot with cream products, but really the same applies with powder. I have been wearing this look a lot; it is functional and fast for both the face and eyes!

First I primed my eyelids and used my finger to swirl all colors of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Wild rose to apply on my eyelids. I used my fingers, not a brush, to get the most pigment possible.

Next I added the lightest side of my Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer to my outer corner. The rose mixed with the bronze gives a warm feminine look. I also applied this with my finger. As you can see this is very fast, with no brushes, and functional, because you can move on to the face with the same products.

Current Favorites

There are a few products that I just can't get enough of right now.

The first is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. It has three beautiful powders perfect for getting that glowing look. The first is called dim light. It is the most natural/less shimmery of them all and is perfect for under eye highlighting or an allover glow. The second is incandescent light. This is by far my favorite one of the three. It is a pale pink champagne color with finely milled shimmer running through it. It is a shade you would put on the top of your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose. The last shade I do not get much use out of. It is a bronze rose gold color, again with a fine shimmer. It is a little bit too dark for my skin tone. Overall, the powders are so smooth and silky and totally worth it.

Next is my first Mac lipstick! Every woman remembers theirs; my mom's was Viva Glam! I got mine in the color Syrup. It is a muted berry nude color in the luster formula. It is very creamy on my lips. It's not the best lipstick I have ever tried, but I love the color.

My last favorite is my Zoeva brush set.. I started out with Real Teqniques and decided I needed an upgrade. They are absolutely beautiful and work wonders. The bristles are so soft; some are synthetic and others are hair depending on what they are for. I got the complete set with fifteen brushes. I recommend these to everyone!
I just washed mine so this is from the website, sorry

Whos Allie?

Hi I'm Allie! I'm fourteen years old, and I'm in love with makeup! I started wearing makeup in seventh grade. With just a touch of clear mascara, I could already tell that I loved everything about it. In eighth grade I got eyeshadow and black mascara. Now I'm a freshman, and I wear concealer, powder, blush, eye makeup, and lipgloss. I don't wear makeup to fix myself; I wear it to enhance and overall just because I enjoy putting it on.

On this blog I will post my makeup favorites, hauls, reviews and a lot more. I hope you enjoy my thoughts!
