My Thoughts:
Application- the Koh Gen Do foundation was much easier to spread around my face with the beauty blender. The Armani one really only stayed in one place, which made it look a bit caky.
First applied both at 11:30am- from far away the foundations look exactly the same. Up close, you can see more of my real skin beneath the Koh Gen Do, and the Armani really clung to the hairs on my face.
3:30pm- The Koh Gen Do foundation has really settled into my skin making it look more natural. But the Armani seems to have more coverage right now. The Aqua foundation is much more luminous than the Armani foundation. So far both foundations have great staying power.
6:30pm- I took a walk earlier so my makeup is a little worn down, but nothing too bad. The Armani foundation withstood the exercise much better though. With both foundations, there is a lot of separation around my nose, but it is much worse with Koh Gen Do.
9:30pm- The Armani foundation has more coverage at this point than the Koh Gen Do. You can see my discoloration on the side of the Aqua foundation.
Photograph- Both photgraphed really well, but the Armani foundation had a little flashback (lit up with with flash on)
Overall thoughts- Comparing these side by side you can really tell that the Armani foundation is pretty caky! I think with a primer, the Koh Gen Do foundation would last a little longer, but it would still separate! Both of these foundations have their negatives but they're enhanced when compared. I think the Koh Gen Do foundation accomplishes the goal of luminous and natural! It really is beautiful on the skin!
