Review: Blinc Mascara

I received a recommendation to review this mascara. I would love to hear about any products you are interested in, and I would be so happy to test them out!
This is a $20 mascara. I ordered mine from Sephora. This is a water-resistance mascara with tube technology. The technology creates small tubes around your lashes rather than just painting on the formula. This mascara claims to be natural, volumizing, lengthening, smudge proof, clump proof, and perfect for sensitive eyes.

The mascara comes in many different colors! I love this idea because they can bring out an individual's eyes. I got black and purple to compliment my brown eyes. This mascara is very natural looking, perfect for everyday. It definitely lengthens, and I saw a huge difference. However, I did not see any volumizing. I was a little disappointed with this. In my opinion I think lengthening and volumizing definitely need to be present in a mascara. It is very smudge proof and clump proof! I was very impressed with the longevity. The recommended way to remove it is with warm water. When I removed it the tubes came off easily, and I love not having to use makeup remover. I was very excited to try a colored mascara. I was expecting a vibrant color but was pleasantly surprised when it looked very natural; I could definitely wear it for a normal makeup routine. I think it is a great way to introduce yourself into something fun like this! The brush on this mascara is plastic with very short bristles that move in a spiral. I usually hate plastic brushes but was surprised by this one! Overall I was really impressed by this mascara. It is more of a casual, everyday mascara. The tubing is really cool, and I love the colored mascara.

November Ipsy Bag

I recently received my Ipsy bag, with the theme of: The Stars are Aligning. Like always, you receive a cosmetic bag filled with 5 beauty samples. The bag this month has a galaxy print. Now lets see the products!

Luxie eyeshadow pan No. 290 ($6.00): This is a full-sized matte brown, mauve eyeshadow. The brand is paraben free, cruelty free, and hypoallergenic. The color is so pretty and perfect for brown or green eyes. The shadow is fairly smooth and pigmented but is a little patchy. When blended it loses some pigmentation, but overall blends nicely. I think this is great warm winter color!

Model co Highlighting Trio ($22.00): This is also a full-sized product. It includes a pearl cream highlighter, a peachy pink cream blush, and a warm golden cream bronzer. For me all of the shades are way too shimmery to use. All of the colors are beautiful but not practical. The creams held nicely and sink into they skin without disappearing.

Crown Pointed Crease Brush ($7.00): I'm not the biggest fan of receiving brushes from Ipsy because I'm pretty particular about them. This brush is very soft with synthetic bristles. It does distribute product nicely, but it is flimsy and hard to control.

Smash box Full Exposure Mascara (full size $20.00): I have used the smash box mascara before, and I was a huge fan. There are a lot of negative reviews on this, but I find it does a great job of separating and adding volume.

Cool Way Strong Hold Spray (full size $20.00): This products claims to add volume, hold your style, and stop frizz. I did not notice the frizz control, but it definitely holds a hair style well without the heavy feeling other hairsprays give. There also wasn't a significant amount of volume, but I received more when I put it on my wet hair.

I didn't love all the products in this bag. The eyeshadow is nice, the hair product is great and i'm excited about the mascara. Overall not the best. Hope you enjoyed a look into my Ipsy Galm Bag!
